Sleep:
The movement stimulation, as well as the snug hold of the sling, promotes sleep. Evidence shows that babies carried during the day sleep better at night. When the newborn baby falls asleep in the sling moms can easily put him down asleep in his cot, so that he associates his cot with falling asleep. As he gets older she can use the sling for awake times and outings.
Calm:
There is overwhelming evidence that babies who are carried on their mothers are significantly calmer than babies who are not. The Baby Sling mimics the calming environment of the womb. The feeling of being rocked, the soft, snug feel of the sling and the sounds of mom's body (heartbeat and voice) helps to calm the baby.
Convenience:
Carrying her baby, as well as being able to get on and do essential chores, or just go for a walk, is a balancing act. The Baby Sense Baby Sling keeps the baby content while freeing up mom's hands to 'get things done'. The convenience goes as far as allowing mom's to feed discreetly while wearing the baby.
The Baby Sense Baby sling is made from the softest chambray and gingham cotton. The ABS plastic rings (food grade) have been tested for breaking force and are safe for use with babies.

Baby sense really helped me my little girl was 7 weeks early. The sling helps me out a lot with house work and made her feel closer to me.
Thank you for being out such wonderful stuff. |

| Baby Sense products (and Meg Faure!) have seen me through two sensory, colicky boys and I don't know what I would have done without my books and sling in particular. I pity moms who had children before Baby Sense was around! |

My daughter Jessica is now 18 months old. When she was born, we were saturated with gifts of all shapes and sizes. However, the two things that made the biggest difference to the scarey world of first time parents was the Baby Sense book and the Baby Sense sling.
The book was easy to read and was evidently written by someone who had been through it all. Without being rigid, it created enough structured guidance to keep both Jessica and I sane. Sometimes, when all you can think of is the sleep you are not getting, logical reasoning seems a distant reality. The Baby sense book simply reminds you of the logic behind not overstimulating your baby. It offers a simple yet sophisticated and well researched message to new mums. Thank you for dispelling the common myths and reminding us of the things that we as moms inherently know.
The sling is wonderfully designed so that your baby feels close and yet can still feel part of what's happening around her. Having a free hand makes all the difference and means that life can continue with your baby by your side. It was always a concern having to take Jess out over her sleep time, but having the sling meant that Jess knew she could safely rest outside of her cot. Thank you for the comfortable flexibility that the sling brought to our lives. It was a great favourite of my huband's too.
Now as we face the possibility of introducing another baby into the family, we do so with a whole lot less fear. We survived the first round, we can do it again. This time though, I would like to investigate some more of your Baby Sense products. If just the two products above could make the difference they did, imagine having the whole sleep hamper!
Thanks and regards, |
